Roasted Fennel Pizza Made With Melissa’s Produce

Making pizza has been an activity I have grown up doing. I love spreading the dough and putting all the toppings on top especially when it is with my family. Furthermore, I love finding fun, new ingredients to put on the pizza. When we received fresh fennels from Melissa’s Produce, my mom and I just knew that we had to make a roasted fennel pizza.

We started by roasting the Fennel the night before and they smelled so good! It got me excited to make the pizza the next night. I have never cooked with fennels before, so had excitement about adding something new to something that I love making…pizza. My mom helped me plan out the recipe and we began cooking.

We set up the kitchen and began to cook. We started by making our own pizza dough. Also, we had to cook the sausage that we bought to go on top of the pizza. Then, we laid out the rest of the ingredients for the pizza which were:

When the pizza finishes cooking you can cut it and enjoy! Your family will enjoy this pizza to the very last crumb. I know mine did. Fennel is the perfect vegetable to put on your pizza to add that little extra something you always seem to need. Add fennel to your pizza to make dinner time a little bit more fun.
