Runners united at the Rose Bowl on February 17th for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Pasadena Half Marathon and Mini Marathon benefiting CureMito! Pediatrics. Musical sensation, Far East Movement was at the event, cheering on all the runners with their energetic music.

Athlete, Deena Kastor ran her first race following her 40th birthday last week. She finished in the women’s category at 1:12:56, right behind the men’s winner Adam Kovacs of Hungary at 1:06:42.

Many celebrities attended in support of the event including the cast of Grey’s Anatomy. Cast member Chandra Wilson has a daughter who suffers from the disease, so many of the staff came out in support of Chandra and her daughter.
