Saturday Brunch at Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine & Cocktails

We dined as a guest of the venue

The reason that I love supporting Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine & Cocktails is that 100% of their net profits benefit The Andrei Foundation, which supports many charitable causes and organizations. How amazing is that? The owners opened the restaurant in honor of their son who was a great philanthropist and was passionate about how eating healthy can impact your health.

Not only is your family giving back to our community by dining at Andrei’s, but you’re also going to savor some of the finest cuisine in Orange County. Recently, Andrei’s just introduced ‘Saturday’ brunch, and I went with my husband last weekend to taste some of their new dishes.

I loved that there is finally an option of having brunch on Saturday, and we enjoyed the complimentary valet parking when arriving at the restaurant. We walked upstairs and found a comfortable table where we embarked on an epicurean adventure.

We started our meal with a toast of our bubbling mimosas before looking over the menu. The brunch menu offers families a wide variety of options, and it was hard to select just one dish to enjoy.

After bringing our drinks, the server brought us a basket of fresh breakfast breads. It was the perfect prelude to our meal at Andrei’s.

Our brunch began with a delicious salmon breakfast toast. The toast featured thinly sliced salmon gravlax, free-range California egg salad, cherry tomatoes, capers, shaved red onions on top of grilled sourdough. Every bite was a taste of heaven, and we devoured every last bite.

Along with the breakfast toast, we shared the arugula salad. The salad was unique in that it featured a tempura-fried egg on top of a bed of wild arugula paired with shaved almonds, pickled red onion, and a Meyer lemon-herb dressing. The eggs were delicious and unlike anything I had experienced before.

For the main dish, my taste buds were tantalized by the crab benedict. The Benedict featured crab cakes, free-range poached eggs, jalapeno hollandaise on top of English muffins. Whenever I dine out for breakfast, eggs benedict is my first choice, and this was some of the best eggs benedict I have ever had.

It was the chilaquiles that caught my husbands attention on the menu, and this dish didn’t disappoint. The dish featured crispy tortilla chips topped with red and green salsa, marinated and sliced flank steak, scrambled eggs and avocado cream – oh my!

Just when we thought that we couldn’t eat another bite, we somehow found room for dessert. We ended our meal a pina colada carrot cake and peach cheesecake beignets.

Our afternoon at Andrei’s was one of the best brunches in Orange County that we have ever experienced. The restaurant is very family friendly and offers a children’s menu. When looking for somewhere new to dine with your family, bring them to Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine & Cocktails. It is guaranteed to become your new favorite family dining destination. Andrei’s is located at 2607 Main Street, Irvine, CA 92614, and they are closed on Sundays. Happy dining!
