San Diego

Santa Barbara

Palm Springs
Make a splash at one of the many luxurious and fun pools at the resorts located in Palm Springs. Sip on your favorite cocktail while floating down a lazy river, play an early morning round of golf, or take the tram to new heights. Don’t miss stopping to see the Cabazon Dinosaurs on your way out to the desert.

Salton Sea
Just a short drive out of Palm Springs, families can take a step back in time while exploring the Salton Sea. Once a popular vacation destination in the 1960’s, the abandoned town offers guests unforgettable photo opportunities of the Bombay Beach ruins, Salvation Mountain, International Banana Museum, Slab City, and real-life lava tubes.

Monterey/Santa Cruz
Just a short drive away from Santa Barbara is Monterey and Santa Cruz. Your kids can visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, have lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf and play at the Dennis the Menace Park. Then make your way over to Santa Cruz where your family will have a thrilling time on the rides at the Santa Cruz boardwalk.

Sequoia National Park
Your children will be amazed when seeing the biggest trees in the state at the Sequoia National Park. There are multiple campgrounds with Lodgepole being the top pick, and cabin lodging at the Wuksachi Lodge. Visit the Crystal Cave, hike to Tokopah Falls and embrace all of the amazing wildlife.

El Capitan Canyon
The El Capitan Canyon is the ultimate summer road trip destination where families can glamp in a yurt, stay in a cabin or camp in a tent on the beach. Start your morning off with breakfast at the general store following by an epic hike to feed llamas at the farm. El Capitan Canyon features a park, swimming pool and lots of hiking trails for families to explore. Don’t forget to bring your bikes, and if you don’t, they always have some available for rent.
