Spinach and Fruit Smoothie Recipe

spinach and fruiit smoothie recipe

I love making smoothies and juices for our family; I love that we can get so many fruits and vegetables into one simple snack or meal.   There are a ton of great smoothie and juice recipes but to find one that includes spinach as its main ingredient that everyone in the family loves is a rare find. I have been making this healthy Spinach and Fruit Juice Recipe since the start of the year and it is truly one of our favorites.  It requires only a few simple ingredients as well!

We were running low on produce in our refrigerator so I needed to stock up; we were heading to LA for an event so we stopped by Smart and Final’s new LA location.  Thankfully I had a cooler in the car from one of our many beach days.

After a long drive, we decided to grab a snack at the .  The new LA Smart and Final location offers free wifi, too, so the kids enjoyed some chill time while I refueled on coffee. One of the reasons we love shopping at Smart and Final is because we can always find great prices on what we need for our family and since we eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, we love saving anytime we can. 3.  Slice your apple and place into the Vitamix, which makes perfect smoothies.  You do not need to cut these chunks small…simply cut into large chunks and toss them in!

4.  Add one peeled orange and blend on high for 15-30 seconds.

5. Add 1 cup of red seedless grapes and blend on low for 10 seconds or until well blended.

6. Add one half lemon and blend on low for 15 seconds or until consistency is smooth and runny.

7. Pour over ice and…

I prefer to use plastic SOLO cups for our smoothies because glasses do not always come clean of all the residue.  As our kids say, “Easy peasy lemon squeezy!”
