Spotlight on: Disney on Ice Treasure Trove

We had the chance to see our first Disney on Ice show last week here in Long Beach.  Disney on Ice Treasure Trove is a skating spectacular that brings some of your favorite from Disney characters together on the ice.  Imagine Peter Pan, The Lion King, Tangled, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and more sharing their Disney magic with you while they skate.

Boys and girls alike will love Disney on Ice!   We went with some great friends and both girls loved the princesses.  Our friend is eleven years old and Ava is six; regardless of age, they both just adored the show.

We all agreed that our favorite part was Lion King.  The emotion and drama of this part of Disney on Ice was gripping and it made us feel like we were right there in the movie with the characters.

Ava’s face just lit up each time a new princess made her way onto the rink.  Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel and Tiana skated for us in this beautiful show!

We even got to see the star of Disney’s 50th animated feature, Rapunzel!  The humor of this movie came through beautifully in the Disney on Ice show.

And in true Disney form, the ending of the show was as magical as ever.  I felt like we were watching one of their famous firework shows right there on the ice.
