Springtime Memories with the South Coast Plaza Easter Bunny

We visited as a guest of the venue

Spring has sprung, and Easter bunnies all around are out and about visiting and taking photos with kids of all ages. Some bunnies can be a mix of cute and creepy, but the bunny at the South Coast Plaza is anything but that. This Bunny is amazing! My kids were in love with this bunny.

When we got to the mall, we were invited to visit the Kids Atelier Store directly across from the carousel for a private event.

They had some tasty treats, a balloon twister and a basket full of goodies for all the kiddos. My son loved the frog piggy bank that he received in his basket.

There is a Springtime crafts cart that sells them and some other wooden things for kiddos to decorate for a fee near the carousel. They also have coloring pages for the kids to color.

While we were in the Kids Atelier store, my kids got to try on some awesome clothing and shoes. They have a fantastic selection of high-end designer clothing for your little fashionistas. Everything in the store was really nice, and I wanted to buy it all! We picked an adorable pair of Mini Melissa shoes for my daughter, and then we headed out to see the bunny.

The whole area around the carousel is transformed into a beautiful Spring scene. You walk around, and everywhere you look are bunnies, eggs and even a rabbit hole with a rabbit inside. My kids loved the rabbit hole and the wishing well.

The mall thought of it all and had two separate bunny photo areas for your convenience. You can choose to go to the one near the Macy’s Home Store wing of the mall, or you can visit the one we visited by the carousel. The Easter Bunny is only open here until March 31st, so if you are planning to see him, you should visit now!

When it was my kids turn to sit with the Easter Bunny I was a little worried. She was not a fan of Santa, so I thought we might have the same reaction, but to my surprise the second this cute bunny moved and started talking my daughter was in love! She could not take her eyes off the bunny.

My son found the bunny entertaining too. He loved that it asked him his name and age. The people taking the pictures were really great as well. They had a tambourine and shook it to get the kids to look. It worked perfectly for my kids, they both looked up and smiled so big. We got the best pictures. I will treasure them forever.

There are different packages for every price range, so parent’s do not need to break the bank when seeing this Easter Bunny. I loved the option of getting my pictures on a flash drive and I also love that they have an option to take your own photo. I highly recommend visiting the bunny at South Coast Plaza. It will be a yearly visit for us now.

Another wonderful thing to do with your kids while you are at South Coast Plaza is to ride the carousel. The carousel features the cutest bunnies for children to ride. They are the cutest and make this whole area shine. My kids loved riding the carousel so much they rode it twice. After the rides my daughter was treated to a balloon and let me tell you, these balloons are great. The balloon we got has lasted for a week now, and it is still floating high.

Once my little girl was happily holding her balloons, we walked around the mall to shop and then headed to lunch. On the back of the carousel ticket, they have different free kids meals to restaurants in the mall, so we used that for our son’s lunch. I like when we find great offers like this. I am a mom of four kids, and anytime I can save a little money it is much appreciated.

After lunch, it was time to go. We left the South Coast Plaza with fond memories and giant smiles. Thank you Kids Atelier and thank you South Coast Plaza for going above and beyond to make our day special. We loved everything about your Springtime activities and cannot wait to go back again.
