Squash Blossom and Burrata Flatbread Recipe
After making stuffed squash blossoms with my daughter, we decided to make a squash blossom and burrata flatbread with the squash blossoms we received from Melissa’s Produce. The flatbread ended up coming out amazing, and my kids devoured every last bite. Plus, they requested that I make it again for them the next evening.
Where to Find Squash Blossoms
If you are not familiar with squash blossoms, they are delicious. When you purchase them online at Melissa’s Produce or from a local retailer, you’ll want to cook with them right away – they don’t hold long in the refrigerator.
You can make your own bread. But, if you’re a busy mom like me, you probably don’t have time for that on a weeknight. Trader Joe’s has incredible flatbread (found in the bread section of the store). They also have pizza dough, but the one in the bread section is the best.
The recipe can be made within minutes, and I recommend pairing it with a fresh salad. Enjoy making this tasty dish for your family.
