Staycation Adventure at The LegoLand Hotel

Is your family in need for an adventure? Looking for somewhere unique to have a staycation together? Then the LegoLand Hotel is the perfect destination to take your family on the adventure of a lifetime. From the moment that we drove up to the Lego adorned hotel, a fire-breathing dragon made completely out of Legos blew a steam over our car. Then once we stepped foot into the hotel, we were swept into a magical world made of Legos.

The LegoLand Hotel is a thee-story hotel where every floor has a different theme. There are the pirate themed rooms, the adventure themed rooms, and the kingdom themed rooms. Since we were on a quest for an ultimate adventure, we stayed in the adventure themed rooms. There are two types of rooms on every floor that includes the standard and deluxe rooms. While on our stay, we were upgraded to the deluxe room, and both of the rooms were amazingly decorated for our children to enjoy.

The best part about the rooms at the LegoLand Hotel is that they accommodate larger families like mine. The room is sectioned off into two separate areas, allowing the children to have their own space to sleep and relax. The children’s area of the room has a bunk bed with a pull-out trundle (sleeps three children), their own television and play area. Your kids will giggle together in their special area while Mom and Dad can enjoy time alone in their own part of the room.

In-between the two sleeping areas is a large storage area for your suitcases, a coffee maker and a spacious bathroom. The hotel helps to make children comfortable when first arriving in their room by offering complimentary juice and bottled water in every room.

When our children first walked into their room, they were given a sheet to start their scavenger hunt that would help them to open the treasure chest in our room. The kids and I ran all over the hotel finding the clues that would help them to get the code that would open their treasure chest.

While at the hotel, our children’s imagination exploded while playing in the Lego pits in the lobby, and exploring the giant pirate ship surrounded by a sea of Legos. Our children enjoyed playing at the pirate ship throughout the afternoon before the nightly entertainment started. The kids danced the night away with all of the other children staying at the hotel while sharing their best Lego creations for the nightly competition.

In the morning, breakfast is included for everyone who stays at the resort. The kids all got a good healthy nutritional start to their day, before using their early entrance wristbands, to enjoy the park an hour before it opened to the public.

Before planning your stay, check the LegoLand calendar. The park is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during select seasons.

Ps. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit along. The LegoLand Hotel has a large pool that is heated year-round for your kids to enjoy!
