Summer Salads at Luna Grill

One of our favorite places to enjoy a healthy meal is at Luna Grill. The restaurant features a family-friendly ambiance, and the meal portions are large enough that we always have leftovers to bring home or the kids end up sharing a meal. This summer, it has been the salads at Luna Grill that our family has been enjoying almost every week. Their salads are packed full of nutrition, and when we add a protein to it, it is the perfect family summer dinner.

My kid’s favorite salad at Luna Grill is the Mediterranean salad. The salad features chopped chicken, Israeli couscous, tomato, cucumber, red onion, mint, parsley, green onion, feta, tossed in our house vinaigrette and served on a bed of lettuce. What I love about the salad is that it is only 600 calories which works well with my restricted diet.

Our second favorite salad at Luna Grill is the chopped arugula salad. It features chopped chicken, quinoa tabouleh, organic chickpeas, celery, tomato, feta, roasted pumpkin seeds. The salad is light, refreshing and delicious.

The two salads paired with the chicken kabob plate is enough food for our family of five to enjoy, and with leftovers to bring home.
