Taste of CHILL at The Queen Mary

We visited as a guest of the venue

We were recently invited to the Taste of CHILL to sample bites and beverages from the six regions across the Globe that will be showcased at the all-new CHILL.

The 38,000-square foot Ice Adventure Park features Ice Skating, an Ice Track, Amsterdam Bumper Boats, a Shanghai Speedway, a Zip Line, Ice Shuffleboard and a two-story, 140-foot-long Ice Tubing slide.

CHILL at The Queen Mary will open on December 13th and run thru January 7th.

The one-of-a-kind experience will allow you to celebrate the traditions of Christmas from six different regions of the world; exploring international fare, the cultures, dancing and live performances.

After tasting what will be offered for all of us, we can’t wait to play and explore the world again through food. Come hungry because it’s amazing!

You’ll find delicious Brautwurst and Spicy Chicken Sausages at Brathaus and the largest Bavarian Pretzel you’ve ever seen, complete with Homemade Sweet Mustard for dipping -so comforting!

If you find yourself in the Swiss Alps, you can indulge in a Grilled Ham, Swiss and Tomato Sandwich or step into the Alpine Lodge for savory Emmental Swiss Meatballs.

Venture over to the Hot Pot for the Red Dragon Dumplings with Spicy Beef, infused with Jalapeños and Napa Cabbage.

Offerings of chocolates, warm German Apple Strudel and Mini Dutch Pancakes are delightful and will satisfy those sweet cravings.

Meander thru the villages to discover magical places tucked away where kids can roast marshmallows fireside. Decorate pre-constructed gingerbread houses; spending time on the good stuff…candy and frosting! They’ll also have special tastings of Butter Beer and Ginger Beer for the little ones.

The big kids can indulge in the 9 Degrees Ice Bar with a DJ playing tunes from the rooftop. While the Alpine Lodge is relaxing and will offer drink passports for 21 and over with a variety of featured craft cocktails.

One of our favorite activities will be the lit Northern Lights Dome, where the Aurora Borealis can be seen, creating an unforgettable light show.

Each Sunday night fireworks are lit for a wonderful show and don’t miss the nightly Christmas Tree Lighting. Of course, keep your eye out for Santa and Mrs. Claus; they will surely put you in the Holiday spirit.

We are looking forward to indulging our inner child with CHILL this year! We’ll be playing hard with all the activities and working up our appetite to enjoy so many international savory bites and sweet treats! Get your gloves, scarves, and smiles ready and come join in this exciting, new winter adventure with us!
