Taste of Huntington Beach 2013

Taste of HB

This weekend you have the chance to attend an Orange County tradition that has been around for over 20 years!

The Taste of Huntington Beach is an annual event that showcases the best of the Huntington Beach’s culinary talents and the region’s winery and breweries.

For a single entry price, attendees can sample and sip the products of some of the area’s finest establishments.

All proceeds go to the Children’s Department of the Huntington Beach Public Library. The Taste of Huntington Beach is produced by the Huntington Beach Restaurant Association and the non-profit Friends of the Children’s Library. Since 2002, The Friends of the Children’s Library and the HB Restaurant Association have helped the Taste raise over $300,000 for the HB Children’s Library!

On average, the Taste has over 40 restaurants, most of which are locally owned and operated. Restaurants feature samples of their most enticing products. Wineries and breweries from the region also serve up their products to those 21 and over.

The Taste also features best in local entertainment, drawings for prizes, and a silent auction. The sponsors and restaurants have great displays. Some offer free giveaways. It’s also a great place to people watch.

This year’s featured entertainment is The Tijuana Dogs, one of Orange County’s most popular bands!
