Teen Guide to Knott’s Scary Farm

We visited as a guest of Knott’s

Hanging out with friends and going to theme parks are two of my absolute favorite things to do. When you put them together, you get one very happy teenager. My mom surprised me with tickets to go to Knott’s Scary Farm for the first time on Friday. So, in honor of all the teenagers going with their friends, I decided to write a guide to go to Knott’s Scary Farm with friends.

This year was my first time attending Knott’s Scary Farm, and I was extremely terrified. My older brother has been going since he was in 6th grade and never found the courage to go. This year I finally felt ready, and it wasn’t that bad. That’s my first tip, make sure you are ready before going. You have to make sure that you are prepared to get a little freaked out and being scared. For some people, it happens earlier than others. I’m in high school, and I was still scared, but I also had a whole lot of fun.

My second piece of advice would to make sure you are going with people you trust. One of the people I went with was my older brother because I knew I would be able to hold onto him when we went through some of the scarier mazes. Each maze has a different theme, and I am particularly afraid of the shark maze. So, throughout that entire maze, I was clinging on for my life to my older brother. When you go make sure you go with a group of friends who you know will help you on some of the more terrifying parts.

My last piece of advice is to HAVE FUN! I know that you are most likely going to get scared, but try to have fun doing it. Sure I was practically peeing my pants the entire time, but I had so much fun and will definitely be going again this Halloween season. If you want to, there is so much fun to be had Knott’s Scary Farm. Especially when you are watching other people get scared out of their minds.

Knott’s Scary Farm is here until October 31st, and you are definitely want to go to this if you are a thrill seeker. I’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty terrifying, but if you prepare yourself you can for sure do it. Make sure to get a big group of you and a bunch of your friends together, and I promise you will not be disappointed.
