The Enchanted Garden on the Disney Dream Cruise Line

We attended during the Disney Social Media Moms Conference

When planning our upcoming family vacation on the Disney Dream Cruise Line, I didn’t know what to expect when it came to dining. We had the option of selecting one of two different dining times, and we would be assigned to dine at that specific time at a different restaurant each evening. The first evening, we dined at The Enchanted Garden restaurant, and it was one of our favorite restaurants on the cruise ship.

The minute that we arrived at the restaurant, we were immediately guided to our private table where we would embark on an epicurean adventure. The staff was already aware of my older sons food allergies, and they came over to go over the allergies with us to ensure that he did not have any issues during our trip.

My favorite feature of the restaurant was the table where we sat. It was shaped just like a teacup, and we felt like we were on the Mad Tea Party attraction at the Disneyland Resort during dinner.

Our dinner began with a delicious first course. I ordered the Ahi Tuna and Avocado Tower that featured crispy noodles and a wasabi dressing. The dish was light, fresh and the ahi was some of the freshest ahi that I have ever devoured.

While I was enjoying my seafood, it was the North Atlantic Lobster Ravioli that tantalized my daughter’s taste buds. The freshly made ravioli came stuffed with roasted garlic and sweet basil and then topped with fresh lobster and a tomato broth.

There were so many choices on the main course menu that it was hard to decide. I ended up taking the recommendation of our fantastic servers Sudarmaji and Vinay; I ordered the Pan Seared Sea Bass. It was my favorite dinner on vacation! It featured the sea bass paired with fava bean and pea risotto, sliced fennel and a dill-chive Riesling wine sauce.

It was the grilled grain-fed sirloin steak that caught the attention of my daughter on the menu. The steak was offered as one of the “lighter offerings” and was paired with fresh vegetables and a baked potato. When the steak arrived, my daughter was delighted to find such a large piece of meat that was the fuel she needed after a busy day having fun on the cruise ship.

The dessert menu had a wide variety of delicious choices, but we were too full from dinner to enjoy one of the tasty treats. After dinner, my teens escaped to Club Vibe to enjoy some fun with friends for the evening, and I returned to our stateroom for some evening relaxation.

When planning your upcoming family vacation on the Disney Dream Cruise Line, don’t miss an unforgettable dining experience at the Enchanted Garden restaurant.
