The Nutcracker and the Four Realms: The Dance of the Realms Children’s Book

Copy provided/affiliate featured

The Nutcracker is one of my favorite holiday fairytales and when I heard that it was going to be turned into a movie I freaked out! I can’t wait to see the new twist on the classic fairytale. Before going to see it my younger brother had asked me to read him the book, ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms: The Dance of the Realms,’ so we sat down last night and I read the book to him.

Neither of us have seen the film yet, but since my mom had got the book, we decided to read it before we see the new movie. The cover of the book is one of the most beautiful book covers with the Sugar Plum Fairy dancing on the front.

We started reading the book and were immediately immersed in a world of wonder and magic. We read all about the four realms of Laughter, Sweets, Snowflakes, and the evil world where Mother Ginger lives. The main character Clara goes through some significant character changes as she navigates her way through this complex universe.

My absolute favorite part of this book is all of the fantastic artwork inside. On every page is a beautiful drawing of a bunch of characters from the film. The techniques are, and they make me want to watch the movie even more! I have gone through the book several times after reading it initially just to look at the pictures.

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms: The Dance of the Realms book is, in fact, a children’s book, therefore, it can be read in one sitting and most likely by young children. My brother and I loved the book so much we even took it to the rest of our family to read.

The book is a perfect way to start your journey into the magical universe either before or after seeing the film. Don’t forget to bring your family to the Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms movie coming out…today!!!
