The World’s Best London Broil Marinade Recipe
When I first married my husband, London Broil was one of his favorite meals. I would search the local grocery store advertisements for the best deals on a big slab of meat to prepare for him. Although, he loved London Broil, there was something about eating a slice of meat that I was not crazy about. It was always so “blah” and never had much flavor. As I began to get better in the kitchen after a couple of years of marriage, I decided to create a recipe that would make the meal boost with some flavor. After many trial and error attempts I found the world’s best London Broil Marinade Recipe.
I first shared this recipe on my old blog back in 2009 but back then I did not do photographs to go along with my recipes. This has become a recipe, that my entire family now uses and brings so much flavor to this popular type of beef.
London Broil Marinade Recipe
2 medium shallots, minced
1 Tbl. thyme
3 Tbl. brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 Tbl. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbl. Balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup vegetable oil I now use olive oil
1 1/2 lbs. London Broil
The flavor of this was so exceptional I can’t wait to make it again. I had no trouble with the meat being tough either. Thanks for the recipe!
What if I’m using an oven?
