Three Easy Ideas for Your Christmas Cheese Board

What party is complete without a cheese board? Here are three ideas to add a touch of Christmas to yours this year!

Include a Pink Peppercorn and Rosemary Goat Cheese Log!

To prepare, chill your goat cheese, stem and chop enough rosemary to coat your goat cheese log, lay out in the length of the goat cheese log and roll so the cheese is coated. And then do the same with pink peppercorns. You will have to lightly press some of the peppercorns into the log. Garnish with a sprig or two of fresh rosemary, drizzle with high quality olive oil.

Make your favorite paté recipe. I am fond of Emiril’s chicken liver paté recipe. Since paté is often served with cornichon and Dijon, I like to slice the cornichon into thin slices and use them to form Christmas tree branches. Add pink peppercorns as ornaments.

Finally, once your board is arranged, garnish with Pomegranate quarters and sprinkle in a few seeds.

To add to the Holiday feel and give your background a snow-like appearance use a white marble board if you have one to display your cheese and pate. The red colors will pop! So festive!
