Trot for a Cause on Thanksgiving Morning


The Orange County Rescue Mission will host its first annual “Turkey Trot OC” event, a 5K run/walk, on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27, 2014 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, at the Orange County Rescue Mission’s Village of Hope in Tustin, California.

The Turkey Trot OC 5K will start and finish at the Orange County Rescue Mission’s transitional living facility, the Village of Hope, with a majority of the event taking place on Valencia Avenue along the former Tustin Marine Corps Air Station base.

Those interested in taking part in the first annual Turkey Trot OC are encouraged to register online before November 8, 2014 to take advantage of the Early Bird registration prices.
Early registration prices are as follows:

· Registration only: $25
· Registration and 7 hot meals for homeless: $35.36
· Registration and 14 hot meals for homeless: $45.72
· Registration and 34 hot meals for homeless: $75.32
· Registration and 51 hot meals for homeless: $100.48
· VIP Registration and 100 hot meals for homeless: $173

The special VIP Registration includes reserved parking, priority check-in, Restoration Roasters coffee and a VIP table for the pancake breakfast.
