December 6, 4:30pm at Grand Park/Town Center Amiphitheater, Free

Join us for an evening of fun. Event includes: visits with Santa, Mrs. Claus & Frosty, live entertainment, complimentary cookies and hot chocolate. Pease bring your camera to capture your child’s special moment with Santa!

Corona del Mar: Christmas Walk

December 6, 11:00am – 4:00pm at the Corona del Mar Business District, Free

Each year the Christmas Walk brings together thousands of fun-loving people into the Village of Corona del Mar for entertainment, food, prizes and games in true holiday spirit. Complete with High School bands, Fireman’s BBQ, carolers, restaurant tastings, beer & wine garden, bouncy houses, Santa visits and a grand opportunity drawing full of local prizes.

Dana Point: Dana Point Harbor Boat Parade of Lights

December 11, 12, 18 & 19 at 7:30pm – 9:00pm, Free

Boaters from all around Orange County decorate their boats and vie for awards. You can view the parade free from anywhere in the Harbor, or make reservations at one of our restaurants to view it from a cozy and warm spot. Come on down and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

Dana Point: Holiday in the Harbor Open House

December 4, 4:30pm – 7:30pm, Free

Join us to celebrate the holiday season. Santa will hear your Christmas wishes and is available for photos (bring your camera). There are many fun activities planned, including photos with Santa, performances by various characters, holiday crafts, and people painting.

Dana Point: Winter Festival & Tree Lighting

December 5, 12:00pm – 7:00pm, at La Plaza Park, Free, charge for some activities

The tree lighting is expected to happen around 5:30pm. There will be a

live Reindeer and a Petting Zoo, Santa visits, and real snow. Entertainment and Children’s Crafts, Games, Cookie Decorating and a special Holiday Movie at 5:30pm all offer a full day of entertainment.

Irvine: Joyful Jingles

December 6, 3:00pm – 5:00pm at Irvine City Hall, Free

Celebrate winter as snow falls over the Irvine Civic Center and the community gathers for games, crafts, music, hot chocolate, entertainment and food. The City’s newest event includes a Joyful Jingles holiday concert and visit from Santa Claus.

Celebrate winter as snow falls over the Irvine Civic Center and the community gathers for games, crafts, music, hot chocolate, entertainment and food. The City’s newest event includes a Joyful Jingles holiday concert and visit from Santa Claus.

Laguna Beach: Crystal Cove’s Holiday Bazaar and Tree Lighting Ceremony

December 5, 10:00am – 5:30pm, Free

The festivities start out with a Holiday Bazaar 10:00am – 4:00pm with local plein air art, a free sea glass wrapping activity, handcrafted jewelry and much more! Then Santa arrives on the beach at 4:00pm. The tree lighting ceremony will occur at 5:15 with complimentary cocoa and cookies.

Laguna Niguel: Christmas Tree Lighting

December 5, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Laguna Niguel City Hall, Free

Munch on yummy cookies and keep warm with hot chocolate. Kids can enjoy fun activities as well as make a craft. Come enjoy the songs of the season from Saddleback Valley Chorale and Laguna Niguel’s upcoming star Sidney Bowen. Don’t miss the annual countdown to the lighting of the tree and spend a little time with the most treasured celebrity of the season, Santa! He will be available for photos, please bring your own camera.

Laguna Niguel: Holiday Parade

December 12, 10:00am start traveling down Crown Valley Parkway between Nueva Vista and Crown Valley Community Park, Free

The Theme for this year’s parade is California Dreamin’. The parade will include beautiful equestrian units, patriotic and inspirational military tributes, world-class athletes, spirit-filled youth groups, classic auto clubs, talented marching bands, and some of the biggest attractions in the nation!

Lake Forest: Victorian Christmas at the Heritage Hill Historical Park

December 5, 11:00am – 3:00pm, $5 Adults and Children (3-12)

Festive Traditional Christmas entertainment, music and performances, children’s crafts, historical exhibits, handicraft vendors, tours through decorated historic buildings staffed by our docents, and visits with Santa.

Lake Forest: Candlelight Walk at the Heritage Hill Historical Park

December 12 – 13, 5:30pm – 8:30pm, $5 Adults and Children (3-12)

Two enchanting evenings with Luminaria-lit paths, historic buildings and trees aglow with Christmas lighting, strolls through restored historical buildings adorned in period décor and staffed by our docents, Victorian carolers, live entertainment in each building, storytellers, visits with Santa, refreshments.

Mission Viejo: Santa’s Arrival

November 29, 3:00pm – 7:00pm at Mission Viejo City Hall, Free

Join the celebration as Santa arrives in Mission Viejo! The celebrationbegins at 3:00 pm and this spectacular event is open to “children” of all ages. There will be game and activity booths where children can do “make and take” items and also build an ornament to help decorate Santa’s workshop trees. Santa will arrive at 6:00pm on a fire engine and will help bring in the holiday spirit by turning on the holiday lights in Mission Viejo.

Newport Beach: Christmas Boat Parade

December 16 – 20, 6:30pm – 10:00pm, Free

The boat parade will light up the harbor for five consecutive nights. The parade starts at Collins Island at 6:30 p.m. and will last approximately three and a half hours over 250 ships participate in the parade along with hundreds of water front estates. Providing the backdrop for the parade is the Ring of Lights waterfront home and business decorating competition

San Clemente: Puttin’ on the Glitz

November 28, 5:00pm – 10:00pm, Free

Enjoy an evening of shopping, dining and local entertainment including a visit with Santa Claus, holiday carolers, roasted chestnuts, and many more holiday treats. This event is truly one of San Clemente’s finest, an opportunity to experience “village character” and reconnect with neighbors and friends.

San Clemente: Santa’s Village by the Sea

December 5, 2:00pm – 5:00pm at City of San Clemente Community Center, Free

It’s double the fun in San Clemente with Santa, cookie decorating, hot chocolate, crafts and much more holiday cheer for the whole family to enjoy! Begin your day with a holiday spectacular at the Community Center. Decorate a holiday cookie in Mrs. Claus’ Bakery, visit with Santa (bring your camera), walk through the Candy Cane Factory, snack on popcorn while watching Polar Express, and listen to sounds of holiday cheer. Light the tree with the Mayor at 5:15pm. The fun continues down the lane to the Casa Romantica, splendidly decorated for the holidays, with Santa, Dickens carolers, hot chocolate and cookies, crafts for kids, holiday entertainment, and holiday exhibitions.

San Juan Capistrano: Tree Lighting Ceremony

December 5, 4:00pm – 9:00pm at Historic Town Center Park, Free

Event starts at 4:00 p.m. with a pre-show including choir, orchestra and dance performances by local high school students. The lighting of the Christmas tree takes place at 5:45 p.m. Festivities continue downtown at the Mission San Juan Capistrano and Historic District on Los Rios Street. Stroll down to Los Rios Park for a free photo with Santa Claus, a Holiday Train Ride, Arts & Crafts, Story Time With Mrs. Claus, Living Nativity performances, and admission to ZOOMARS. There is a nominal fee to ride an old fashioned tractor pulled hay ride. Musicians and String Quartets will be located throughout the area adding to the ambiance of the evening.
