Do your children have a love for art? Animals? Then you are going to want to bring them to the Aquarium of the Pacific tomorrow where the artist Wyland will give a hands-on art lesson to children.

The special event is to kick-off the Wyland National “Water Is Life” art challenge from September 25th through November 25th. The hopes of the art challenge is to encourage children to appreciate and love our ocean.

During the event tomorrow Ocean Scientist, Dr. Sylvia Earle, will talk to children about the ocean and answer any questions they might have during the presentation.

The free art program is open to all 48 million elementary and secondary students in the nation, grades k-12. Last year, students in 45 states took part. The foundation will also be providing free art supplies, including canvases, paints, and teacher lesson plans, to schools in 100 cities.
