You’re Invited: Annual OC Bark Bash Community Event

Barks of Love has partnered with the Heritage Museum of Orange County to help abandoned dogs find their forever home at their Bark Bash this April. The partnership has already encouraged attendees to make the dog world a friendlier place, starting with donations to benefit the non-profit organization in its efforts to provide aid to dogs in need.

This year’s Bark Bash offers families the opportunity to enjoy food, vendors, and entertainment, while helping support a good cause. This year’s line -up includes Java on the Go, California Grill Truck, Boss Pup, Dachs 2 Danes, Embyr Oils, Labrashark, Doggissage, Arm the Animals, and more.

Admission to the event also includes access to the museum’s Kellogg House and guided nature walks through the Gospel Swamp Natural Area, as well as access to the children’s activity area and a free ticket for the opportunity drawing.

Proceeds and donations from the event will assist Barks of Love in providing quality care to foster dogs. It will help cover the cost of vaccines, medical and dental care, and training to ensure that the dogs are healthy and well adjusted when they move into their forever home. It will also be used to fund items to help fulfill the dogs’ everyday needs such as food, leashes, beds, treats and so on.

Barks of Love’s Bark Bash event will take place on Sunday, April 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine at the Heritage Museum of Orange County (3101 W. Harvard St. Santa Ana, CA 92704). Tickets are $5 for children ages 10 and under and $10 for guests 11 and up. All canine companions are welcome free of charge.
